Overall

After a Technical Managers Meeting, down in Salt Lake City, a group of us (Walter Stahlecker, Petr Janecek, Pete Smith, Lutz Temme and I went night skiing at Brighton resort).

First stop was the top of the Crest Express quad chair. Once we all had skis and boots sorted out we were able to warm up with a number of respectably long cruises.

About half way down the hill, the trail steepens up and the splits. Petr was going far too fast to negotiate the turn at the bottom and crashed out into a trail marker .. he seemed unhurt.

First it was the short section of moguls off Crest Express and then Walter Stahlecker lead some of us (Pete Smith and me) to The Face, a steep, narrow chute. Walter skied it comfortably, with a great deal of style, which is a lot more than can be said for Pete or me.

As it got darker, we switched back to the cruises and finally stopped after about 3 hours as the temperature dropped.
